Dear Friends,

                        I am very much thankful to all of you for having reposed faith in me and electing as Circle Scretary in th 35^th biennial conference of Bihar Circle held at Patna from 07.07.2012 to  08.07.2012.

1.           35^th  Biennial conference, Patna

The biennial conference of our association was held at Hotel Samrat International, Fraser Road, Patna -8000 01 from 07.07.2012 to  08.07.2012. Pre conference CWC meeting was held on 07.07.2012 in the canteen of  Patna GPO.

The Open session was held on  08.07.2012, under the President-ship of Sri Ram Vinay Sharma, Astt. Supdt. Post, West Sub Division, Muzaffarpur with the co-operation of all members. The conference was attended by high dignitaries – Sri Anil Kumar, Director Postal Services( Business Development)  Patna,   Sri M. Abdali, Director, Postal Services (H.Qr.), Patna, Sri Narain Jha , SSRM, PT Division, Patna, Sri B.B.Saran, CPM, Patna G.P.O., Sri Shyam Pandey, SSPOs, Patna, Sri K.K.Jha , AD(P), Sri Rameshwar Rai , AD(S),Sri Narsingh Mahto, AD(PMU) , Sri Shambhu , AD(PLI) , Sri B.N.S. Yadav , Sr. Postmaster, Bankipur, Sri Bhagwanlal Mishra, SPOs, Saharsa, Sri B.D. Singh, SRM, Sorting PT Div. and other senior officer. Sri Ram Vinay Sharma welcomed all the high dignitaries guests, delegates and invited members of the entire sister unions.

Sri Rajdeo Prasad Circle Secretary & Sri Ram Vinay Sharma, President played a good role in the proceedings of the subject committee and open session and make it successful.

I am thankful to the members of reception committee for organizing the conference and to make it historical, successful and exemplary. Their dedication was really appreciable.

3.          Thanks to Postal Circle Administration and members of Bihar Circle

The Postal Circle Administration have extended full co-operation to make this conference to successful. I am very thankful to them on behalf of the association. The members of our association have also worked hard and extended their full co-operation physically and financially.

4.           Resolution:

      This occasion was utilized for change in our thoughts, attitudes, work culture etc. We have already taken up the following agenda for discussion.

(i)                Payment of TA Bill

(ii)             Laptop to all IPOs(C & P.G), ASPOs(HQ), ASPOs(DN.) and all IPOs and ASPOs working in R.O. and C.O.

(iii)           Proper accommodation for office of Sub Divisional Heads and for O/O association.

5.          Association Fund.

(a)  Subscription:        All the members are requested to get the subscription deducted and remitted to Sri Praveen Prasoon, Treasurer, SDI (P) North Sub Dn. Chapra every month to make association financially strong.

(b) We have reviewed the collection of donation coupons for the 34^th biennial conference and it has been seen that some of the members have partially remitted the amount of donation coupons and as such the accounting work is pending till now. They are requested to remit the outstanding amount of donation coupons by 30^th August so that the accounts may be closed without any further delay.

6.           Problems.     Problems, if any, faced by our members must be brought into my personal notice without any hesitation. 7.      Circle working committee meeting scheduled to be held on 12.08.2012 at Patna G.P.O. All office Bearers and CWC members are requested to attend the meeting at 1100 hrs positively. If other member of association facing any official problem they are also invited to attend the said meeting.
